SIGiST Event – Philosophy, Testing and Unity (Agile Testing Alliance) 25 February 2015
February 25, 2015 @ 17:30 - 19:00
Philosophy, Testing & Unity
Abstract:
What do ancient wisdom, kwaito and agility have in common? Schalk Cronjé takes us on a journey through what testing means in a modern context and how we can learn from other disciplines. Looking at Agile, Lean & software quality from a systems thinking point of view, he will enlighten you to think differently and consider delivery and purpose of technical process.
At the end he will also provide a short brief of the Agile Testing Alliance and its goals.
About the Presenter(s)
Schalk Cronjé is an international coach & consultant in the IT industry, working with organisations on Agile & Lean transformations and process improvements based out of the United Kingdom. He currently serves on the steering committee of the Agile Testing Alliance as the representative for the United Kingdom and South Africa – the latter which he hopes soon to hand over to someone else. He has a strong interest in the development of the skills of young people in the industry and can be found quite often in pro-bono coaching sessions.
