SIGiST Event – The Power of Numbers – July 22nd 2015
July 22, 2015 @ 17:30 - 19:00
Abstract:
Applying statistical and mathematical procedures to answer common (and sometimes not so common) testing questions
Software testing is often seen as messy and answering seemingly simple questions such as “how much will it cost?” or “how long will it take?” is surprisingly difficult. And I am not even talking about the more philosophical questions such as “does compliance with a process add value?” or “what is the impact of the quality of requirements on testing?”
I will explore the answers to these and other question by applying mathematical methods to organisational data collected over the last couple of years..
