By completing the Computer Professional Education Program, you will have the following competencies:[br]

What is the Program Content?

The Program comprises three core subjects and one elective:

Core:

Risk Management: Professionalism and Compliance; New Technology Alignment; Business, Strategy and IT

Electives:

Project Management; IT Service Management; Adaptive Business Intelligence; Enterprise Architecture; Green Technology Strategies.   (You only need to choose one if completing the CPE Program)
How are the subjects assessed?

There are two areas of assessment in all subjects; Contributions to the 13 weekly discussion forums, worth 20% of your total assessment and two or three assignments, for example, worth 30% and 50% respectively (example given is for two assignments – weighings depend on subject).

To pass the subject overall, it is necessary to pass all areas of assessment.

Can I miss one semester of study?

Yes, you can, all you need to do is to advise us and re-enrol in the following study period.

How long does it take?

The course is offered over one 13 week study period for each module.
What are the study/semester times?

There are three study periods per calendar year. Study periods run for 13 weeks.

While university-based study can often prove hard to apply for those who are working and studying at the same time, the CPE qualification makes a point of using the theory as an applied case study on your work environment, more in the tradition of an MBA.
