Call for Nominations – IITPSA Eastern Cape Regional IT Awards 2018

Overview
The Eastern Cape Chapter of the IITPSA Regional IT Awards recognise persons who
have made an outstanding contribution to the Eastern Cape IT Industry and or a
significant contribution to the IT profession over the past year.

         The Awards

CIO and / or IT Personality of the Year
  • An IT Person who has a leading / strategic / tactical IT position in a company
  • A person who has made a major technical and / or academic contribution to
    the IT Industry
  • A person who has made a major contribution to the IT profession over a
    number of years
IT Entrepreneur(s) / Innovator(s) of the Year
  • A person(s) with entrepreneurial skills who has built a highly successful
    IT business or contributed significantly to the success of an IT organisation
  • A person(s) who has created an IT innovation that has substantially assisted
    a company in becoming successful
  • A person(s) who has made a significant technical or academic contribution
    to the IT industry by fostering entrepreneurial/innovation skills and abilities.
IT Contributor to Society
  • An IT professional who has contributed significantly towards the development
    of the Community.
  • An IT person who has made a significant contribution to Society through the
    application of IT.
Woman in IT
     A woman who has made:

  • A positive business impact on and / or contribution to the IT industry.
  • A significant technical and / or academic contribution to the IT industry.

Nominees must be members of the IITPSA, or be willing to become a member
The closing date for nominations is 31 March 2018 @ 12 Noon
The awards will be made at the 2018 IITPSA Eastern Cape Chapter
Regional IT Awards Gala Dinner to be held on Wednesday 23 May 2018
