Announcing the findings of the 2021 JCSE-IITPSA ICT Skills Survey

Wits University’s Joburg Centre for Software Engineering (JCSE), in partnership with the Institute of Information Technology Professionals South Africa (IITPSA), have concluded the first South African ICT Skills Survey since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.

At this event, report co-authors Adrian Schofield and Professor Barry Dwolatzky will unpack their findings on the pandemic’s impact on a Gig economy, the outlook for continuing remote and hybrid models in the local ICT sector, and whether ICT skills demands have changed during the past 18 months.
