Cyber exercises and competitions to develop multidisciplinary cyber capacity: An IITPSA SIGCyber Event

Many reports indicate a shortage of cybersecurity skills; consequently, international norms for cybersecurity place emphasis on capacity building, amongst other aspects. Often, theoretical knowledge is insufficient, and some practical experience is required for fully comprehend the complexities and multidisciplinary nature of cybersecurity. The panel focuses on the role of cybersecurity competitions and exercises for skills development, and the lessons learnt in implementing and participating in the competitions.
