E Cape Chapter Event: Growing your own global technology business from anywhere: Lessons learnt

| Topic Abstract: The talk will cover how Gough Venter focused on growing an ICT services business and selling to an international ASX listed company in Australia, then starting a co-working space and growing a SaaS business. Other topics he will cover include the DevOps of scaling a SaaS business globally, Machine Learning and the present environment he is working in, the Vision space (with photos & videos) plus some Natural Language Processing for chatbots.— The Speaker – Gough Venter (from Australia): Gough indicates that he is “A technologist and entrepreneur, driven by innovation”. He is an avid student of Design Thinking and mastering the design process. He started his IT career in the early 90’s and he will be telling his story from UPE into the corporate ERP world and then to the start-up tech SaaS world. He is presently Chairman of iMAGECLOUD, Sydney. Australia. He is a BCom IS graduate from the Department of Computing Sciences at Nelson Mandela University.
