IITPSA Gauteng Chapter Event – Professionalism, Professional Membership and CPD

The third one of these will be held in Gauteng.

These workshops will focus on:

• Professionalism in ICTs,
• Ethics and ethical behaviour
• The requirements and benefits of professional membership of IITPSA
• Continuous professional development (CPD) – what is it, and why should we do it? The IITPSA CPD Policy will be discussed with a view to having a common understanding of CPD in the IITPSA context.

Whether you are already a Professional member (PMIITPSA) or are working towards achieving this grade to benefit your career, this workshop is for you. If you are unsure of why you should be a PMIITPSA, or don’t understand the benefit of continuous professional development (CPD), you are encouraged to attend the workshop.

Tony is a ‘hardened’ ICT professional of around 30 years and has been running the Institute for almost ten years. He has previously held numerous ICT related positions in Commerce and Industry, including that of a Divisional Chief Information Officer in the Barloworld Group. Tony is a Professional Member of IITPSA and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors.
