- IITPSA Undergraduate Bursary (one award)

This bursary is aimed at undergraduate students, starting their tertiary studies in 2017 at a South African University or University of Technology. Selection will be based on prior academic achievement, financial need and the intention to study in one of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) fields (e.g. Computer Science / Informatics / Information Systems or Technology / Applied Computing, etc.).

The Bursary is a full award to cover tuition fees, university administered accommodation (if applicable), etc.

– - Women in IT Partial Bursary (one award)

This bursary is aimed at women students, commencing their final year of undergraduate study in 2017 in one of the Information and Communications Technology fields, as explained above. It will be an award for a maximum of R30 000.00 towards the final year tuition fees of the successful applicant, depending on subject choices. Selection will be based on prior academic achievement, financial need and a relevant ICT field of study.

IITPSA and Women in IT reserve the right to make the Bursary awards entirely at their own discretion, or, indeed, not to make any award at all.

In both cases, the awards will not be made in cash to the winners, but will be paid into the students’ university tuition fees / residence fees accounts on presentation of the relevant valid documentation.
