IITPSA approves Regenesys as accredited CPD training provider
The Institute of Information Technology Professionals South Africa (IITPSA) has approved Regenesys as an accredited CPD training provider, with eight courses approved thus far for CPD points.
Regenesys Business School is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training as a private higher education institution under the Higher Education Act, 1997. It offers a range of postgraduate, undergraduate, SETA and digital courses.
In addition to earning IITPSA CPD points, IITPSA members in good standing who register for any of the approved digital courses will qualify for a 10% discount.
IITPSA member graduates of the following courses will receive 30 CPD points from the Institute.
The Regenesys courses currently accredited by IITPSA for CPD points are:
Advanced short course: Artificial Intelligence – a three-month course including practical tasks and digital assessments, covering various AI techniques in depth, and the design and development of AI systems. Those that successfully complete this course will receive 30 CPD points from IITPSA.
Advanced short course: Blockchain – a three-month course including practical tasks and digital assessments, for students, graduates and professionals involved in blockchain projects, covering a broad range of concepts including Bitcoin and mining, hyperledger basics and architecture and blockchain industry applications. Those that successfully complete this course will receive 30 CPD points from IITPSA.
Advanced short course: Coding – a three-month course including practical tasks and digital assessments, covering data science and machine learning in Python, as well as Django-based web programming. Those that successfully complete this course will receive 30 CPD points from IITPSA.
Advanced short course: Cybersecurity – a three-month course including practical tasks and digital assessments, covering cybersecurity and ethical hacking. This course includes how to hack Android, Linux, Windows operating systems and WiFi networks, and how SQL injection, DoS and DDoS are carried out, among others. Those that successfully complete this course will receive 30 CPD points from IITPSA.
Advanced short course: Data Science – a three-month course including practical tasks and digital assessments, for solution architects, software developers, business analysts and engineers. This course covers Python for data science, data analysis and visualisation, machine learning, applied AI and more. Those that successfully complete this course will receive 30 CPD points from IITPSA.
Advanced short course: Digital Marketing – a three-month course including practical tasks and digital assessments, for students and marketing professionals. Among others, this course covers social media marketing, SEO, mobile marketing, email marketing and web analytics. Those that successfully complete this course will receive 30 CPD points from IITPSA.
Advanced short course: Machine Learning – a three-month course including practical tasks and digital assessments, designed to help participants learn complex theory, algorithms and coding libraries in a simple way. Those that successfully complete this course will receive 30 CPD points from IITPSA.
Advanced short course: Robotics – a three-month course including practical tasks and digital assessments, to equip participants to build and deploy robotics process applications, including taskbots, metabots and IQbots in Automation Anywhere. Those that successfully complete this course will receive 30 CPD points from IITPSA.
CPD points will be awarded based on the following criteria, and points earned will be printed on course certificates:
- Certificate of Completion: Cumulative average of 80% in online tests. (CPD Points awarded.)
- Certificate of Participation: Cumulative average of 50% -79% for online tests. (CPD Points awarded.)
- Certificate of Attendance: Cumulative average of less than 50% for online tests. (No CPD Points awarded.)
