James Grcic

Graduated with a Business and Information Technology honours degree at Campbell University, USA , he started to hold leadership roles at an early stage having been head of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and named to the Presidents list.

 

In 2000, he came back to South Africa to try his luck in the ruthless IT industry. He saw an opportunity, and CSSI was born. 7 years later, CSSI was named to the Top 300 SA companies and awarded Most Entrepreneurial Business (CRF). He further added accolades of the “Ministers Award – Science and Technology” and “Best Gauteng Business”. Motivated to challenge other industries, CipherWave was founded and became a leader in the Data Centre, Fibre and ISP market. In 2015 CipherWave recognized as one of most successful IT startups, and signs over 450 new customers per month. To leverage the success, subsidiaries CipherWaveHomeConnect™ and TalkTalk™ were launched.

 

He acquired SkyClass Aviation in 2009, from a company about to go under, and transformed it into a successful Aviation Charter business. Using technology, IT, acumen and a large chunk passion, SkyClass became a profitable entity winning numerous Tour operator, charter and VIP business in Africa, with a fleet of 6 aircraft. Today CSSI is global with offices in USA, Europe, Hong Kong and India. He attributes his success to a methodology called I-3. To Inspire, Innovate and Improve.
