The Institute of Information Technology Professionals South Africa (IITPSA) has opened bookings for IITPSA’s diamond anniversary banquet and President’s Awards, set to take place in Johannesburg on the 8th of November.

The President’s Awards ceremony is the industry’s premier celebration of South African ICT excellence. This year, the award winners will be announced at a glittering gala banquet marking IITPSA’s 60th anniversary.

Awards to be presented during the banquet include:

- IT Personality of the Year Award, presented by IITPSA in partnership with the Gordon Institute of Business Science, Gartner Africa and ITWeb, to a person who has made an outstanding impact on the SA ICT industry over the past year.
- Visionary CIO of the Year Award, presented by IITPSA in partnership with the Gordon Institute of Business Science, Gartner Africa and ITWeb, to an executive in the corporate IT environment who has demonstrated visionary leadership in applying technology to grow and transform business.
- Distinguished Service in ICT Award, awarded jointly by EngineerIT and IITPSA, recognising a significant, career length contribution to the ICT profession and/or the ICT industry.
- Fellowship of the Institute Award, in recognition of an individual who has made an extraordinary contribution to the Institute or the profession as a whole.
