Response to the COVID 3rd Wave and adjusted Level 4

28 June 2021

We do hope you are as well as can be expected in these challenging times. We are all critically aware of the challenges and losses we are facing, in view of the 3rd Wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in South Africa, particularly in Gauteng where new infections have reached record highs.

As circumstances change, so must our plans.

It is clear to us that we must be proactive and act immediately to protect our staff, our members, applicants, and other stakeholders.

As a result, the IITPSA National Office in Midrand will temporarily be moving to fully virtual operations for four working days out of five each week, working remotely, with restricted face-to-face interaction on Wednesdays only. We will do this for a period of two weeks initially, in line with the new adjusted Level 4 regulations, and then reconsider depending on the pandemic progress and national guidelines.

This means that the IITPSA National Offices will initially be closed from Tuesday 29 June 2021 to Friday 09 July 2021 inclusive, with the exception of the two Wednesdays (30 June and 07 July 2021) until the situation is safer.

At the same time, we will continue to provide all the applicant and member support, webinars, and other digital interactions that we have been doing, to keep the operations of IITPSA functioning as completely as we can under the circumstances. The team can still be contacted on 011 315 1319 during this time, or via the usual email addresses.

Finally, we want to thank you for your ongoing support of the Institute, and appreciate, in advance, your kind cooperation during this difficult time.

Kind regards,

Tony Parry PMIITPSA
Chief Executive Officer – IITPSA
