Double Bill: Adding value to software testing – an IITPSA SIGiST event
November 20, 2019 @ 17:30 - 19:00
IITPSA’s Special Interest Group in Software Testing will stage a special double bill session in Johannesburg on 20 November, covering two key areas to add value to the software testing environment. Focusing on ways to enhance team performance, and cyber forensics within software testing, expert speakers will outline sometimes-overlooked areas of this environment.
Abstract 1 – Understanding individual personalities to unleash team performance
Building Solid Relationships:
Relationship building is very key for the success of any project, and it is often taken for granted in the technical/technological space.
As leaders, it is very important to help our teams to unleash their utmost performance, and we can do that by understanding their individual needs and using that to ensure that they are performing at their best.
Universally, we all have 6 Primary needs and there will be 2 most dominating ones, and each individual live their lives feeding all the needs, especially the most dominating ones. We use either distractive or constrictive ways to feed our needs.
- The Need for Certainty
- The Need for Variety
- The Need for Love and Connection
- The Need for Significance
- The Need for Development and Growth
- The Need for contribution
