Students may apply for recognition of prior learning (RPL) for any of the subjects within the ACS Computer Professional Education Program except the Professional Practice Report.
To gain RPL for a subject, and its associated assessment, a student must provide evidence that they have already achieved the aims of the subject.
The evidence may be in the form of, but not limited to;
- authorised statements of university results,
- certificates from other education providers and certification agencies,
- letters from employers, work colleagues and clients, and
- artefacts of work previously completed.
An application for RPL will be assessed by the ACS Principal & Chief Examiner in consultation with the ACS Examiner responsible for the subject or subjects involved. Students seeking RPL will be notified of the assessment of their applications by email.
