Moira de Roche
Vice President of IFIP (International Federation for Information Processing)

This event will be moderated by Moira de Roche. Moira is an accomplished speaker and has presented at conferences around the world. Moira is the Vice President of IFIP (International Federation for Information Processing), and Chair of IFIP IP3. She was awarded the IFIP Silver Core in 2016 for service. She is a Professional Member and Fellow of IITPSA (Institute of IT Professionals South Africa), and received the IITPSA Distinguished Service in ICT Award in 2009. She is also a member of ACM. Her current work is focused on instructional design and online course development.

Dr. Stella Bvuma
Director School of Consumer Intelligence and Information Systems (SCiiS), University of Johannesburg

Dr. Bvuma currently holds the position of Director of the University of Johannesburg’s School of Consumer Intelligence and Information Systems. Dr. Bvuma has been hailed as a courageous and skilled expert in information technology, as well as a leader with a servant heart. She has been recognised as an all-around leader with the capacity to build relationships and forge strategic partnerships with both the public and private sectors, with a focus on the impact on citizens for digital inclusivity.

Prof. Lynn Futcher
Associate Professor of the School of IT, Faculty of Engineering, the Built Environment and Technology at Nelson Mandela University.

Prof. Lynn Futcher is currently an Associate Professor of the School of IT, Faculty of Engineering, the Built Environment and Technology. She has a PhD in Information Technology from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and a Higher Education Diploma from UNISA. Her primary areas of research include Information and Cyber Security Education and Secure Software Development. As such, she is a key member of the Nelson Mandela University’s Centre for Research in Information and Cyber Security (CRICS). Prof. Futcher’s key skills relate to three main areas, namely: teaching and learning, research and engagement. She has a passion for excellence in teaching and learning in higher education through empowering learners to reach their full potential.
