Bitcoin lets you exchange money in a different way to traditional payment methods in terms of peer-to-peer transactions without the need for a third party. As such, you should take the time to inform yourself before using Bitcoin for any serious transaction or investment.

This event will provide a perfect opportunity for you to network with other digital currency and blockchain enthusiasts and experts and therefore learn more about what people are doing in this space.

The presentation will:
- Describe what Bitcoin, the protocol, is, as well as what bitcoin, the currency, is
- Explain what the blockchain is and what companies and institutions are doing with this technology
- Explain how to get started using Bitcoin, how to buy and sell Bitcoin, how to send and receive Bitcoin and how to make payments using Bitcoin.
