I am Amukelani Michael Mhlongo, a 25-year-old South African, and I’m deeply passionate about continuous learning as the cornerstone of a brighter future through innovation.

Hailing from the diverse and dynamic landscape of South Africa, I firmly believe that learning is the bedrock upon which we build progress and innovation. It’s this belief that fuels my journey towards a better future.

At the heart of my mission is Me2You, an initiative I co-founded to address critical societal challenges. Me2You ingeniously combines a meal kit delivery service with a virtual food bank, targeting food waste, hunger, and environmental sustainability. However, it’s more than just a solution; it’s a reflection of my commitment to preserving the dignity of individuals in need, ensuring they receive surplus food free of charge.

But the impact goes beyond food. Me2You’s Amaqhawe program also serves as a platform for local employment, empowering community members as delivery personnel, giving them opportunities to earn income while contributing to their neighborhoods.

I see South Africa as a place of incredible potential and resilience, and it’s where I draw inspiration for my work. My vision is to use technology, entrepreneurship, and continuous learning to shape a brighter and more sustainable future for all.
